PRINT UV Updates Agenda With Expert Speakers on The New World of FoilCure, and Consistency and Control with Chemicals and Color

PRINT UV has updated its agenda with two timely presentations led by renowned industry experts. It’s the final countdown to the conference, taking place March 16-18 at the Wynn Encore Resort Las Vegas and there’s still time to register before space sells out.

On Thursday, March 17 at 11:30 a.m., Dirk Winkler and Chris Travis of Koenig & Bauer will present “Shine on you Crazy Diamond!: The new world of FoilCure.”

What is it…? Can it replace metalized poly board? Is it recyclable? How do you get a significant difference in sheen in comparison to the Cold Foil process? Participants will be part of a live stream with the Koenig & Bauer's showroom in Radebeul, Germany for a live print session introducing FoilCure to the masses. With the use of LED UV and a slight tweak to the cold foil process, you will witness the next level of the FoilCure process and change the economy of your value-added business.

Following lunch, at 1:30 p.m., a panel discussion will focus on “Consistency and Control with Chemicals and Color: Controlling a Printing Environment Across Multiple Platforms and Locations.”

Every printer is adept at handling the gremlins in their printing press for every job, but rarely do printers rely on a single press.  Getting high-quality consistency from job to job and press to press requires more than wrestling a few gremlins, it takes a solid plan!

In this best practices presentation DJ Cabler, a print expert from WestRock Corporation, and Jack Frank, the Color Process Manager from the Multi Packaging Solutions Division, will discuss the causes and creative solutions from the perspective of print specialists responsible for quality improvements at plants throughout North America, the Caribbean, and parts of Europe. They will be joined by a panel of experts to help answer your questions!
